This blog is started as a way to document my experience in the Peace Corps from 2006-2008. Since I left Cape Verde, my desire to see the world and make a difference continues. This is my story...

Life in DC
I'm back in the District for an internship with PSI- this time at HQ! But on the way there I stopped in Winston to celebrate Mothers Day.
In DC, living it up with my friend Janine, who I met at GW.
I spent my first weekend in DC with one of my closest friends from GW and her fiance as he practiced an open water swim for an upcoming triathlon and a swim across the Chesapeake Bay.
Then it was back to NC for Memorial Day weekend. We celebrated Fathers Day early since I'll be out of country.

Just finished my second week of the internship. So far I've been working on case studies comparing cost effectiveness of different family planning methods and researching information for a pilot we are running at the end of the summer. Love my department and am so excited to be at PSI HQ this summer. Tomorrow I leave for Tanzania for 2 weeks. I'll try to post as often as I can. |
